Yes! Научил я его русскому. Точнее теперь можно задать фонт.
Вот только в сетапный диалог не добавил опцию - только
vi ~/.xsmbrowser-config :-)
Патч лежит на ftp://ftp.binec.ru/pub/raorn/xsmbrowser-font.diff.gz
