Доброго дня!
Неужели я один использую Samba в качестве клиента, или у меня особенно
плохо с /dev/head & /dev/hands?
Проблема 1:
Русские буквы.
При подключении ресурсов с удалённых машин (smbmount), (В основном -
Windows 9x) и своей собственной, русские имена файлов не перекодируются.
Названия разделяемых ресурсов и комментарии перекодируются корректно...
client codepage = 866
character set = koi8-r
Есть ли простое решение проблемы? А то если никто не ответит - буду Самбу
править.
Samba сборки IPLabs есс-но.
Проблема 2:
Скорость.
При скачивании файлов с удалённых машин скорость Samba в среднем в 2 раза
ниже, чем у w98 (скачивается с той же машины, есс-но).
Сейчас стоит TCP_NODELAY, SO_SNDBUF=8192, SO_RCVBUF=8192, остальное -
умолчание.
С сетью и TCP всё Ok. Ошибок нет, collision - и тех мало.
FTP выдаёт "на гора" - 700к/сек (через роутер или 2 - как сложится)
W98 (по SMB) - до 500
Samba - не более 200, а чаще - не более 150 (это издевательство какое-то!)
Идеи есть?
