Используемые программы столь совершенны, что предпочтения могут быть
только чисто вкусовые. Известно, например, что некоторые не покупают
стиральных машин с верхней загрузкой, так как очень любят смотреть, как
она стирает. (Действительно, завораживающее зрелище :-)
Сизиф я начал выкачивать программой X-Downloader (один раздел достаточно в
её рабочее поле перетащить, и пошло-поехало). Потом перешёл на wget, а
затем на rsync, который и очень полюбил. Понравился мне он почти так же,
как mirror. Все три программы исключительно мощные и их ключами надо
пользоваться аккуратно, чтобы избежать, например, такого редчайшего
события, как авария на ftp-сервере - операция массового удаления с таким
трудом добытых файлов на рабочей станции происходит очень быстро, сердце
не успевает уйти в пятки.
