Ваша информация несколько устарела. Видимо не с теми разработчиками
общались :)
В версии 0.5-pre2, что лежит на сайте в contrib находится патч поддержки
HTML.
Будет работать при наличии Mozilla M18 и далее (далее - это 0.7, но не
0.6) в полной комплектации.
Применительно к MandrakeRE - это пакеты Mozilla и Mozilla-devel
Поддержка HTML войдёт в основную ветку после разрешения разнообразных
странностей, в частности - чего-то непонятно с Debian (поступали сведения,
что при установке Mozilla из Debian-овских пакетов не работает embedding,
непонятно, в каких случаях)
