Если у Вас MandrakeRE и Netscape поставки IPLabs, то вообще непонятна суть проблемы.
Всего желаемого относительно шрифтов вполне можно добиться не выходя из меню Netscape.
1) Приведите всё, в первоначальное состояние!!!!!
Затем:
View->Charset->Cyryllic KOI8-R
View->Charset->Set as default.
Edit->Preferences->Fonts->Cyryllic Koi8-r,
Helvetica (Cronyx) 14, scaling==no
Courier (Cronyx) 12, scaling==no
Edit->Preferences->Fonts->Cyryllic ISO-8859-5,
Helvetica (Adobe) 14, scaling==no
Courier (Adobe) 12, scaling==no
Edit->Preferences->Fnts->Use my default...
