Приятно слышать инициативу со стороны линуксшопа,
дело очень нужное, я бы сказал.
Тут как-то один человек пару месяцев назад спросил про наличме таких
программ, так его заплевали по самые уши :)
Я сам с тем, что он очень нужет весьма и свесьма согласен, как
говорится, "поробовал раз - ем и сейчас".
IMHO, проблема будет в отсутствии моральной поддержки со
стороны закоронелых анти-виндузоидов (исключительных линуксоидов),
которые не понимают проемуществ. :)
Вам лично же скромно посоветовал (попросил) бы начать с аналога программы
"Опечатка", поскольку там минимум исск. интеллекта и максимум удобств:
увидел что не так набрал -> выделил кусок -> исправилось, в
зависимости от того, что нажато:
ScrollLock - заменилось йцукен на qwerty
Pause/Break - заменилось йЦУКЕН на Йцукен или qWERTY на Qwerty
Пока письмо написал - раз 5 программой воспользовался :)
