В связи с отсутствием на моих серверах CD-приводов была изготовлена
загрузочная флэшка с rescue из установочного диска ALM2.4. Цель в общем-то
достигнута, но загружаться приходится хитро: сначала stage1 говорит
"No disk" и ядру подсовывается вручную usb-storage.o, уже имеющийся в
архиве. Потом, опять же вручную, выбирается раздел на флэшке и
наконец-то счастливо находится stage2. Попытался устранить непорядок.
Первым делом попытался найти исходники инсталятора - не получилось.
Полез в сизиф, обнаружил, что в propagator-e такая проблема давно
решена. Но propagator отказался мне вообще грузить какие либо модули,
потому что код, отвечающий за их загрузку взят из module-init-tools,
где init_module предназначен для ядер постарше, чем 2.4.26
Куда пошлет меня уважаемая community по пути решения?
