Из треда на NVIDIA я понял, что это не совсем проблемы NVIDIA, а еще
от не оч. удачной реализации AGP 3.0 в Линуксе.
В общем что у меня получается.
В логах все хорошо. При запуске startx экран начинает мерцать, как и
раньше. А потом тишина. Молчок. Жмем на три клавиши, и перезагрузка
проходит нормально. Работает, как было замечено, драйвер от XFree86 nv.
Кстати патч agpgart никчему не привел. Я имею в виду упомянутые
в треде на nvidia. Фиксил ядро 2.4.21-rc6.
Я так думаю, что проблемы решатся в конце концов, и все будет
нормально. А переезжать на Intel это дело вкуса.
