А в виндах что, настройки не теряются?
Где здесь разница между GUI и текстом? По-моему, проще переписать на
флопик содержимое /etc, чем запоминать, где какие галочки стояли. Это
если настроил один раз и не разобрался (к примеру, посоветовал
кто-нибудь), а если разобрался, так в чём же дело? Если я понимаю, как
работает сеть, мне не надо помнить, где что включено было - я лезу в
Сеть->TCP/IP в виндах и настраиваю. С текстом то-же самое.
