Что-то с вашим почтовым сервером. Или клиентом.
Зачем-то перекодирует в латинницу, да еще и переворачивает буквы.
Я свое письмо получил в нормальном виде.
Кстати, а как выглядит это? :)

Впечатление, что на koi8-r в 8-bit transfer encoding сервер
срубил старшие биты. В наше время такое принято считать
недостатком настройки сервера. Зато демонстрирует серьезное (и
единственное:) достоинство кодировок семейства koi:)
