И так пробовал, последний раз, по вашему совету, с PnP OS = yes. Не
видит все равно. Вот вывод dmesg:

Что  примечательно:  в оффтопике на включенном модеме горят индикаторы
TR и CS, а в Linux - только CS. Порт настроен в соответствии с выводом
setserial  /dev/ttyS0 (0x03f8, irq4). Модем все равно не виден, чем ни
опрашивай.  Не  знаю,  относится ли это к делу, но до этого, как я уже
писал,  я работал через внутренний Sportster на COM2, irq3. /dev/modem
сейчас перекинут на /dev/ttyS0, но может надо еще что-то поменять?
