А в бакпортах для 2.4 не смотрели? Смутно вспоминается, что вроде
кто-то туда собирал посвежее мускуль.

Привет всем!
У меня такая проблема....вот нарыл старый сервак, где я когда-то
ставил:
# cat /etc/altlinux-release
ALT Linux Master 2.4 (Citron)
У меня стоит связка apache+mod_php4+MySQL.
mysql> status
--------------
mysql Ver 12.22 Distrib 4.0.24, for alt-linux-gnu (i586)
Собственно как-то не очень хочется собирать новый MySQL из исходников.
Как можно обновить этот старый дистр или хотя бы MYSQL ?
