У меня конфига не намного от вашей отличается.
quantum 30G - hda
cd-rom LG -hdb
cd-rw HP9100 -hdc
WD 1.3 GB -hdd
Установка происходит с CD-RW без проблем (как и с CD-ROM).
Но бывает, что параллельно с некоторыми CD-RW не работают никакие устройства (На
своем опыте был CREATIVE 12x10x? , и MITSUMI 4x4x?). Если ваш
аппарат страдает этим, придется переезжать Seagate на hdb. Скорости
первый девайс не потеряет - зато будет работать второй.
