Привет всем, community.
система: VMWare 5
Поставил Линух впервый раз в жизни (купил коробочную ALT Master 2.4),
читаю книжки, все очень хорошо написано, правда половина не
соответствует действительности.
в VMware - разрешение 800х600 - хочу больше, т.к. для KDE маловато,
вычитал (http://www.linux.org.ru/books/xfaq.html), что настроечки лежат в в /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 , добавил туда моделайны сгенеренный videogen,
и попытался с помощью графичекой Control Centr (щас не могу точно прочитать - видережим слетел) применить разрешение.
1) там моего разрешения не оказалось 1024х768
2) я поставил поменьше 640х480 (было 800х600) - на экране полоски - не читабельная информация.
?: как мне откатиться обратно
?: откуда system centr берет свою инфу
?: и как все таки мне его увеличить
ага, откатиться обратно получилось, файл
~/.kde/share/config/kcmrandrrc - там изменил на 800 на 600 и 85 рефреш
- все ок, А было плохо при 640х480х85.
вопрос в том как сделать больще?
система опытная на ней все изучаю..
и не глумитесь пжлст что из под рута.
