ТеХ не заточен под верстку иллюстрированных журналов - это раз.
И ни одна из существующих систем верстки/допечатной подготовки (ни
свободные, ни проприетарные) рядом не лежала с реальными требованиями
современной редакции - это два.
Существующие системы имитируют работу архаичной "бумажной" редакции, а
нужна поддержка коллективной распределенной и удаленной работы на всех
стадиях подготовки материала.
Так что верстка - узкое место и траходром во всех без исключения
редакциях оперативных (ежедневники, еженедельники) СМИ.
