То что PAE по умолчанию включёно, вероятно, это и правильно, поскольку
таких раритетов, как у меня (2х166 ММХ) уже осталось мало. Мне не
понятно, почему пересобранный модуль не подходит ядру, а здесь, мне
кажется, скорее проблема в моих руках/голове, но самому локализовать
проблему пока не удаётся. Соответственно и вопрос, как узнать, что
является причиной не понимания ядром модуля и/или чего может не
хватать в самой системе? Вероятно куча появляющихся unresolved symbols
может подсказать знающему человеку ответы на эти вопросы.
Сейчас я пытаюсь ещё раз пересобрать ядро, добавив .1 в название
релиза (%define krelease 12.1), чтобы убедится, что у меня правильно
стоят kernel-headers и kernel-headers-modules, но процесс пересборки
ядра на этой машине не быстр...
