Нет. У меня контроллер Intel SCRU32. Плюс две корзины по 5
винтов. Операционка видит этот зоопарк как три драйва.
Контроллер может экспортировать до 9 хост-драйвов (точно не
помню в доку давно не заглядывал).

А так.
Неплохой контроллер. Одно но, если собрать RAID-5 на винтах
по 18GB и потом по-одному заменить на 36GB, то расширить уже
созданный массив не получится.
Контроллер умеет делать HotSwap Pool. Им можно рулить из
линуховой консоли.
