Суть была в том, что (по опыту) в проекте КДЕ достаточно низкие
требования к зрелости релиза, поэтому желательно дождаться как минимум
х.1, чтобы сменить "текущую" версию К в дистрибутиве с х-1 на х.
2.0 вызвала дикое разочарование своими глюками и нестабильностью.
Из-за этого многие _пользователи_ просто потеряли к К интерес (хотя
2.1 была уже б/м рабочая).
А то, что посмотреть на КДЕ3 многим будет интересно, хоть в
кандидатском варианте, хоть в финальном -- кто ж спорит.
