Здравствуйте,
Прежде всего хочу сказать что в Линуксе я "чайник".
Ну так вот , приобрел дистрибутив "alt linux COMPACT", установил
по руководству на свой компьютер (P3 600МГц 128МБ Мать ACORP 6BX81)
и обнаружил:1) нет звука (aureal vortex1 au8820), 2)модем не работает
(U.S.Robotics USB Faxmodem model 5633) , ну а в остальном вроде всё
работает.
Теперь подробнее: при установке система сказала что на звук нужен
родной драйвер, я нашел его в Интернете, но поставить не могу (не умею)
мучаюсь уже две недели (начинает надойдать), хотя в Readme к драйверу
так всё просто написано. Что касается модема, прочитал где-то что
USB модем настроить не получится.
Помогите пожалуйста не разочароваться в Linux.
