Попытка самостоятельно разобраться со встроенным звуком привела к слеующим вопросам.
Дистрибутив ALM2.0 как есть (в смысле был год назад).
Собственно что говорят разные куски системы

Содержимое файла /etc/modules.conf ввергло меня в состояние крайней задумчивости.
pre-install pcmcia_core CARDMGR_OPTS=-f /etc/rc.d/init.d/pcmcia start
alias usb-interface usb-uhci
Вопрос - а где можно прочитать о синтаксисе данного файла, чтобы руками можно
было добавлять свою информацию? И как к нему относится файл /ETC/MODULES? Или общее у них только название?
Далее попытался найти модуль, на который надо делать alias. Иду в /lib/modules и вижу следующую картину.
2.4.18-alt6master-smp/
2.4.18-alt6master-up/
2.4.19-alt0.8-up/
2.4.20-alt0.1-adv-up/
И где тут мое ядро? ОЧЕНЬ ГЛУПЫЙ вопрос. Кто может подсказать, как в справочной информации системы можно извлечь
различные форматы конфигурационных файлов, или как узнать версию ядра или ALSA?
Куда дальше то копать и чего делать? Настраивается ли звук как-то еще кроме как через KUDZU?
