Не могу включить звук
nvaudio из kernel-source-nvidia-nforce-0261-1.0.0261-alt1.src.rpm
не загружается
Где может быть рабочий драйвер

Попробуйте snd-intel810 (ALSA). Хотя у меня работает и nvaudio.
Проверьте также записи в /var/log/messages и `dmesg`, мож
проблема не в драйвере.

Чипсет nForce2, кодек ALC655. Находит, как intel810.
# alsaconfig
изменит /etc/modules.conf
$ alsamixer
--

Спасибо, скачал с nvidia.com NFORCE-Linux-x86-1.0-0292-pkg1.run.
(не понятно только зачем качать файл 5,6G ради исходников в 100K)
Установил звук ожил, но при попытки записать звук чем угодно
вываливается с ошибками, больше 1 сек не записывает, в логах
Nvsound: Unable to change the Record SampleRate, set back to 48000
под виндами работает, скорее всего кривые драйвера.

Это слишком новый чипсет - драйвер для него не попал в Master 2.4.
