Да, мне это помогло. Я не могу сказать, что мне нравиться смотреть на
Х в 8-битном режиме, но во всяком случае, я увидел разрешение
1024х768, т.е. без кривости шрифтов и пр. Убедившись в этом, можно
начать крутить XConfig-4, хотя мне это сделать не удалось (еще раз
оговорюсь: я занимался этим не очень плотно), modeline из-под 3-х Х не
проходит, а всякие утилитки, типа xvidtune, для ЖК-мониторов похоже
без толку, хотя может быть что-то изменилось к лучшему.
