Здравствуйте!
Возник вопрос следующего содержания.
Поставил на работе на машину второй системой ALT Junior 2.0, затем
обновил его до 2.1, банальным "apt-cdrom add" и так далее. Но это
предыстория вопроса.
История такова, к нас есть лакальная сеть на 13 машин с ВЫНЬ XP,
хотелось бы чтобы юзеры могли класть и забирать информацию с моего FAT
раздела диска. Архитектуру сети я вижу через LinNeighborHood, могу
пинговать любую машину, чей хост прописан в соответствующем файле,
ВЫНЬ машины также пингуют мою. Но при работе под Linux мою машину
ВЫНЬское сетевое окружение не видет. Добавление в /etc/samba/smb.conf
следующих строк:
[myshare]
comment = Mary's and Fred's stuff
path = /mnt/windows
public = yes
writable = yes
printable = no
create mask = 0765
Результата не дали, машины в сети по прежнему отказываются видеть
меня.
Отсюда вопрос - где надо покапать и поковырять, что сделать для
достижения желаемого результата.
