Вот что мне сказали "буржуи" в переписке: "2.4.5 and earlier have several bugs,
including major bugs in the loopfs code".
Насколько это соответствует действительности?

Это вряд ли... Я там таких проблем не замечал. Имейте в виду, что у нас не
просто ятра 2.4.х, а ядра с наложенными патчами.

Кстати, kernel24-2.4.8-alt1.src.rpm при сборке с devfs трапается на fsck,
сборка без sard (вряд ли, давно работает) и ide.2.4.5-ac9.all.06062001,
ide.2.4.5-p1.tfio2.05132001 работает нормально. JFYI, патч TFIO давно для
2.4.7 сделан.
