На домашней машине тоже наблюдал невозможность обновиться при
использовании прокси. Ошибка такая же: "The http server sent an invalid
reply header". Пробовал и с зеркала яндекса и с ftp.altlinux.org. Грешил
на себя, но, похоже, что нет.
$ rpm -qa | grep squid

На работе обновления проходят, но там squid, кажется, более старый. Если
нужно - завтра отпишусь.
