Я могу дать приблизительный ответ, с точностью до лаптя -
каталог .gconf . Конкретно по значкам
- /desktop/gnome/interface/icon_theme в gconf-editor. Не уверен, что это
поможет, впрочем. Если gnome-settings-daemon запускается, тогда может и
помочь.
