После описанных Вами манипуляций, все в порядке горит ровным зеленным
светом. А мигал красным он потому, что у меня оказывается замок не до
конца отодвинут был :0)
Далее выдержав время, как Вы рекомендуете,
sane-find-scanner — норм
scanimage -L — норм
а вот
[ura@queen ~]$ scanimage -pT
[snapscan] Scanner warming up - waiting 13 seconds.
[snapscan] Scanner warming up - waiting 9 seconds.
[snapscan] Scanner warming up - waiting 35 seconds.
scanimage: sane_start: Error during device I/O
причем из под root та же «песня».
Может быть я где нибудь допустил ошибку?!
Надо будет повторить весь алгоритм когда буду «собран».
Но прогресс на лицо, сканер по крайне мере начал как то реагировать,
весело подмигивать лампочкой, кряхтеть и пыжится :0)
«К слову написать», в инструкции приведённой в рассылке junior,
говорится, что фаил esfw3e.bin есть на диске у меня его нет! Есть он в
папке system32 и Program Files\epson — в Winразделах. Еще интрересно
имеет ли значение регистр букв у меня фаил ESFW3E.BIN?
Интересно, то что при использовании обычных пакетов sane и libsane
устройство в /dev не появлялось, но воспользовавшись вашим советом и
установив бинарники из «Сизифа» оно появилось, хотя как я уже писал
версии пакетов одинаковые!?
