А кто нибудь проделывал такую вещь?
Есть сервер, на нем самба. Клиенты все 98-2000 маздай.
В свое время, помню только-только вышли heroes III, я проделывал
таку вещь: снимал имидж с сидюка, клал его в расшаренный каталог на
сервер, потом на всех машинах клиентах подцеплял этот имидж как
сидюк. Все работало на ура. По-моему, использовал для этих целей
virtual CD.
Кто-нибудь проделывал что-либо подобное? ПОделитесь впечатлениями.
Какой софт для эмуляции лучше использовать? (лучше всего, чтобы он
понимал iso без переконвертации, ну и конечно, умел цеплять сетевые
папки как CD). Насколько требовательны к рессурсам? Сами понимаете,
"сервер" - это просто машинка P133/64 с бо-о-льшим винтом. А что еще
самбе надо? Это же не НТ со всей ее графикой. Сеть 100Мбит.
Буду рад выслушать ваши мнения/предложения.
