На дисках нет. Но я думал, что он будет искать по всем незакомментированным
строчкам в sources.list - там ftp разные-полезные. Но такого не наблюдается.

Дело не в конкретном пакете - он вообще в инет не заглядывает и делает все
секунд за десять. Если не знает нужных программ, то как ему рассказать, что они
вообще существуют? И почему инет не трогает?
