Ничего хорошего. Как пишет Алан Кокс, есть 2 причины: IDE и APIC. Для
начала попробуй запретить APIC в ядре. Если клава и мышка умирают, то
это наверняка APIC.
Вообще-то, проблема эта старая. Найди какой-нибудь архив рассылки
linux-kernel и поищи там, если интересно.
