Возможно вы наткнулись на ту же проблему, что и я... Совсем недавно
сканировал текст в Винде, а потом пробовал файл открыть kuickshow в
linux'е и не открылся. В консоль при этом сыпались ошибки типа:
unknown field with tag 513 (0x201) encountered. `TIFFReadDirectory'.
unknown field with tag 514 (0x202) encountered. `TIFFReadDirectory'.
unknown field with tag 37679 (0x932f) encountered. `TIFFReadDirectory'.
unknown field with tag 37680 (0x9330) encountered. `TIFFReadDirectory'.
unknown field with tag 37681 (0x9331) encountered. `TIFFReadDirectory'.
так и не удалось открыть мои tiff'ы. Дело в том, что очень хороший, и
всем известный стандарт, спецификация которого лежит на
http://www.libtiff.org/ . Но вот микрософту, как водится, до лампочки на
стандарты, и они ввели новые теги, которые стандарту не известны. Так
вот первые 513, 514 теги отвечают как раз за jpeg компрессию и значит
что libtiff у меня в системе собрана без JPEG compression. Как в
альтлинуксе я не знаю, но так или иначе, когда я пересобрал свою либу с
поддержкой той самой компрессии файлы всё равно не открывались из-за
тегов 37*. Что это за теги? ХЗ. Если кто знает, буду благодарен, за
помощь, как же всё-таки такие файлы прочитать. На всякий случай у меня
tiff-3.8.2.
Короче. Посмотрите вывод на консоль. :=)
