Доброго времени суток!
Спасибо всем, всё заработало!
Проблему с GRE решилась не до конца понятным мне путем после
нескольких танцев с бубном.
И еще я понял, что доверять полностью сисадмину провайдера не стоит.
;-)
Он мне сказал не все маршруты, какие надо было прописать в таблице
(видать, замороченный был - у них как раз сервер все падал и падал...).
В том числе, маршрут на сегмент с VPN-сервером не сказал прописать.
И я, бестолочь, не сопоставил сразу IP этого сервера с таблицей
маршрутизации :-)
Впредь умнее буду.
Теперь осталась одна мелкая проблемка:
Что бы такое написать (скрипт? какой?), чтобы можно было на стол юзера
в КДЕ или Гноме повесить две иконки: "Старт PPTP" и "Стоп РРТР". И чтоб при клике на
каждую шел запрос пароля root, а затем все поднималось-опускалось.
Наверняка кто-нибудь подобные штуки делал.
