А что вам надо? =)
ЕМНИП, расположение точек в одном пикселе (rgb), используемое системой
(GNOME, fvwm), должно совпадать c их порядком на вашем мониторе. В
результате будет счастье в виде лучшей читаемости и сглаженности
текста на экране. Берем лупу, внимательно смотрим на экран и идем в
gnome-control-center -> fonts, вроде.
Впрочем, интересовался я этим год назад, лучше уточните в гугле.
