Простите, очевидно туплю.
Т.к. выхода в Инет из Линукса нет, в Винд зашел на сайт altlinux.ru,
скачал пакет звонилки xisp-2.7-alt5.src.rpm
Переезагрузился в Линукс, зашел как рут, запустил MC, переместил пакет
в директорию home.Набрал apt-get install xisp-2.7-alt5.src.rpm Энтер!
И опять command not found!
В чем моя ошибка? Что я неверно понял?

То есть про файлы tar.gz можно забыть и не дергаться?

И про работу с диском плохо понял.Допустим захотел я что-то с диска
поставить.

2.apt-cdrom add (диск определился)
3.apt-cache showpkg (после паузы, опять курсор)
