Есть большая ЖК-панель (Samsung 244T). Подключена она через DVI к Nvidia
GF Ti4200 и отлично показывает, но при длительном бездействии не
отключается. Экран просто темнеет, но лампы внутри не выключаются и в
режим DPMS Standby или Suspend монитор не переходит.
Поскольку монитор включен весь день и я, случается, надолго его оставляю
то напрасно тратится 100 Вт/час электричества и ресурс хорошей панели.
Знает ли кто-нибудь в чем дело?
Подробности:
Монитор поддерживает DPMS. Мой старый 15" нормально засыпал на той же
системе.
Xscreensaver запущен и у него включены параметры управления питанием. В
xorg.conf имеются строки:
Section "Monitor"
...
Option "DPMS"
...
Section "ServerLayout"
...
Option "BlankTime" "5"
Option "StandbyTime" "10"
Option "SuspendTime" "20"
Option "OffTime" "30"
...
В Xorg.0.log:
(**) NVIDIA(0): DPMS enabled
...
(WW) Open APM failed (/dev/apm_bios) (No such device).
