Здравствуйте!
Есть проблема с настройкой внутреннего модема:
Имеется внутр.модем Motorola 28.8 ISA + Linux Mandrake 2001 RE.
pnpdump честно формирует isapnp.conf,модем там виден,но все попытки использовать
любую предложенную в этом файле(разумеется положеном в /etc)
комбинацию irq/port для модема проваливаются.
Более того,при загрузке системы проходит сообщение об ошибке в isapnp.conf.
В виндовозе (на этой же машине) модем
использует com4/irq5 - работает нормально. Машина старая
(Пентиум166),но внешние модемы на ней прекрасно работают (под обеими
ОСями),к тому же звуковая карта ISA тоже работает без сбоев и там и
там (в Линуксе была определена при помощи soundconfig).
В БИОСе стоит "PNP OS yes" (2 года назад я долго не мог завести ALSA
для PCI звуковой карты - система не выделяла ей прерывание)..в
забугорном форуме посоветовали сделать "PNP OS no" - в момент все
заработало..может и здесь так?
Джамперы на модеме стоят в дефолтных положениях - PNP джампер включен.
В чем грабли? Подскажите,плиз!
