Монтируется один раз, при загрузке (ну или вручную, если
перезагружаться не надо). Потом вставляете флеш-карту и заходите в
каталог, всё.

Так отключите autofs.

Не знаю, что у вас там не работает, но у меня на АЛМ2.4 с этим самым
codepage=866 всё с русскими буквами нормально.
