Версии не совпадают, какая была на Mandrake я не помню. Но по умолчанию
там действительно стоит софт. Т.к. в Download edition драйвера от nvidia
не включены. Я их сам скачивал с www.nvidia.com.
Они нормально собрались и установились. После этого в XFreee меняешь nv
на nvidia и все ок.
Причем все сразу начинает летать (я имею в виду OpenGL приложения, теже
демки от MEsa).
А на ALM 2.4 мне нормально их установить не удалось. Они собрались и
вроде как встали но вот там библиотеки черте где лежат а не в
стандартном месте и еще Xfree ругался на то, что версия драйвера ядра не
совпадает с версией библиотек. Оказалось что и драйвер ядра на ALM
находиться в другой папке чем должен быть по страндарту и в modules.dep
получилось 2 записи для этого модуля. Короче все так не станждартно что
по тупому сделать не получилось :( А жаль, там все было очень приятно.
Минимум телодвижений и все в ажуре.
