Здравствуйте!
За отсутствием определённых ответов на предыдущий вопрос по той же теме
попробовал-таки на тестовой машине с Compact'ом перейти с lvm на evms.
Получил глобальный облом. После установки evms запустить его не удалось,
конфигуратор ругался на отсутствие модуля dm-mod. Соответствующий
kernel-feat-dm-... был установлен (ведь это он был нужен? или я ошибаюсь?).
Ядро 2.4.25-std-up.
Сдуру перезагрузившись, потерял все lvm-тома. Для восстановления пришлось,
как всегда, грузить knoppix, монтировать дерево вручную, дальше, естественно,
chroot, apt-get install lvm, reboot.
Кстати, загрузка с CD Compact в режиме repair не помогла. Загружаемое ядро не
понимает lvm, и утилит соответствующих на виртуальном диске нет. Даже rpm -r
выполнить не удалось, потому что нет базы пакетов.
Какие будут комментарии? Можно ли вообще в Compact'е запустить evms?
