Если флэшка "завелась" и используете AUTOFS то по образу и подобию,
например FLOPPY пропишите свой девайс в файлах:
/etc/fstab
/etc/auto.tab
Правда во втором написано что он autogenerated. Но я добавлял руками.
Может что-то и не дочитал.
PS. Аналогично делал и для ZIP на LPT
