Привет всем.
Вот такой вопрос. Пробую ставить Lexmark Z55. Драйвера родные
линуксовые. При установке принтер видит, порт опредиляет правильно.Но
дальше проблемы :(.
GLib-CRITICAL **: file gmem.c: line 563 (g_mem_chunk_alloc): assertion
`mem_chun
k != NULL' failed.
CUPS appears to be installed.
Restoring lp*-prelexmark links to original lp* links ...
No symlink /usr/bin/lpr-prelexmark found.
Cannot restore original print setup.
No symlink /usr/bin/lpq-prelexmark found.
Cannot restore original print setup.
No symlink /usr/bin/lprm-prelexmark found.
Cannot restore original print setup.
No symlink /usr/sbin/lpc-prelexmark found.
Cannot restore original print setup.
/var/tmp/rpm-tmp.51054: /etc/init.d/lpd: No such file or directory
Такое ощущение что CUPS здесь лишнее звено, можно ли обойтись без него.
Или поблема в другом и как решить? Дистр J2.

Удалил CUPS, поставил LPR, LPD --> OK, результат нулевой :(. Файлы
складываются в спул дерикторию и всё. В чем может быть проблема?

Дальше вернуть обратно CUPS и запустить от root скрипт
lexmarkinstall из foomatic. И проверить права на /usr/local/z55 и
файлы в нём.
