Hello community,
По умолчанию Мастер стоял с 2.4.26. Тут с целью эксперимента
установил Мастерское 2.6.8. Встало, заработало (кроме известного
psmouse). Но!
1. При установке в lilo.conf в конец списка прописалась новая
загрузка с 2.6.8 и это хорошо. Но при этом в /boot все симлинки
типа vmlinuz, initrd, initrd-up тоже пробились на 2.6.8, т.е.
загрузка старого ядра стала невозможна, зато новое ядро аж три раза
можно подгрузить.
Это зачем так было сделано?
2. После тестовой загрузки 2.6.8 пропал /dev/cdrom -> /dev/scd0,
т.е. по возвращению к 2.4.26 никакого сидирома больще не видать.
3. hotplug/kudzu и прочие дурЯт в своем обычном стиле. Есть ли
устоявшаяся и более-менее "официальная" рекомендация как тут быть? А
то временами в fstab смотреть страшно.
Извиняюсь, если эти вопросы тут уже обсуждали.
Вешать баги? Писать
инструкции для прохождения таких граблей?
