Уважаемые, сегодня на стенде люди поставили Юниор2. Видео опозналось,
как SVGA 1024*768, 70 Hz, но при попытке проиграть AVI файл ругнулось на
отсутствие видео устройства, после загрузки по новой X-ы не захотели
запускаться. Материнка VIA со встроенным видео (Trident Savge 16Mb)
нашли в настройках эту карту - идёт сообщение об ошибке и ничего.

Это всего лишь предположение - в XFConfig86 нет никаких испорченных
строк (типа неуместный перевод строки и т.д.)?
