Hello All.
Есть MySQL версии 3.23.23 Beta.
Крутиться на шлюзе в интернет. Раз в 10 минут по ipchains снимается
статистика по трафику и кладется в базу. Оттуда она посредством php
выводится в браузере пользователям. Все хорошо и замечательно...
Но недавно мне в голову попала мысль, что хорошо бы и бэкап сделать..
Береженого как говориться... Сказано - сделано. Поднял MySQL на другом
сервере (он у нас файловый - помощнее). В 00:00 делается полный дамп
базы - архив ее кидается на файловый сервер и там закачивается в
"дубль-статистику". Таким образом каждый день в 00:00 базы полностью
синхронизируются.
Но хочется большего... Вот задумал сделать репликацию - чтобы в любой
момент времени реальную статистику можно было бы посмотреть как на
основном, так и на дублирующем сервере.
Возможно ли такое? И если да, то каков механизм репликации? Как ее
настроить?
Предложение обновить MySQL до более свежей версии неприемлимо. Долго
объяснять - просто тогда биллинг работать не будет. Он завязан именно
на эту версию...
Возможна ли репликация именно в данной версии?
