А кто сказал, что "локальная сеть" - это SMB/CIFS? :)
Для случая работы в сети с Microsoft-овским применением SMB ненавязчиво
порекомендую:
1) Включить Samba настройки параметров (политика шифровки паролей,
именования групп, станций, адресов WINS) провести в соответствии с
действующими в Вашей сети правилами. Рекомендую в путём лёгких
пощёлкиваний мышкой в SWAT.
2) Запустить программу LinNeigborhood, в качестве MasterBrowser вписать
адрес 127.0.0.1
3) Забыть навек о проблеме.
3.5) В случае мелких проблем с языком - см вклеенный скрипт.
