Одинаково, и накладок не меньше (а может и больше, из-за приплывшего из
ДОС текстового добра).
Паа-прашу не забывать про 1251, благодаря которой и стоит у меня Альт! Я
в ней живу и чувствую себя лучше чем в любых КОИ, несмотря на постоянные
ошибки собирателей пакетов, которые пишут "ru" и дальше валят всякую
бНОПНЮ. Последний пример - Mplayer*.src.rpm. Зачем так криво спеки
писать?
И говорите что КОИ должна быть единственной в Линуксе, если увидите в
КОИ8 тексте "№" и "ў" (и если можете писать на официальных
государственных бланках америкосский #).
Так что надо _всегда и везде_ рядом писать ru_RU.CP1251 и ru_RU.KOI8-R а
неплохо бы для полноты и iso c 866 до самого Уникода.
