Помогите, пожалуйста, настроить модем Motorola SM56 Speakerfon modem
под Alt Linux Master 2.4
По этому линку (http://www.motorola.com/softmodem/sm56_download.htm)
были найдены драйвера под Мандрейк 9.2 и 10. Установка драйвера
для 9.2 до конца не завершается выбивает какую-то ошибку связанную с
ядром (хотя именно эти дрова должны поддерживать ядро моего альта),
установка дров под мандрейк 10 проходит успешно (по команде apt-get
install, по rpm -i выбивает тоже какую-то ошибку связанную ядром, если
необходимо, текст ошибок перепишу и брошу сюда). После установки нас
просят перезагрузиться, что и делаем. У нас появляется страница
справка man sm56. Из нее, насколько я понял, нам необходимо загрузить
модуль драйвера командой insmod sm56 [country=n], вместо n подставить
380 (для Украины). Однако при выполнении этой команды выбивается та же
ошибка о ядре... Может я что-то не так делаю?
Если вы можете помочь, излагайте, пожалуйста, ответы подробнее, я в
Линуксе начинающий.. Если какой-то информации не хватает, с радостью
поделюсь :)
