Mustek 12000SP Plus _SCSI_ стоит дёшево (примерно столько). Надо
выкинуть идущий с ним контроллер и заменить на дешевый приличный и
полное счастье настанет. Sane SCSI любит...

Umax, по-моему, лучше.
