Самособранное для i686 ядро 2.4.17-alt1; система Junior 1.1, в основном
обновлённый из Сизифа.
1. При пересборке ядра с нетронутым конфигом: попытка собрать драйвер
aureal приводит к полному зависанию (только SysReq помогает). Это
происходит во время попытки modprobe созданного модуля. Далее, после
перезагрузки модуль au8820 не грузится, выдывая два экрана unresolved
symbols. В хелпе к нему написано, что может помочь сборка soundcore в
составе ядра (не модулем).
2. При пересборке ядра с soundcore в составе ядра: то-же зависание при
сборке + теперь и в процессе загрузки сервиса sound всё тоже виснет.
В ядре 2.4.12 всё работало.
Есть ли смысл писать багрепорт aureal-овцам? Проблема в том, что мне, к
сожалению, некогда проверить всё это на vanilla-ядре, а без этого, как
мне кажется, они вряд-ли прислушаются.
