У меня подобное было, когда я поселил в системе ешо и CD-RW.
Абсолютно такая же проблема была..... Вылечилась прописыванием в lilo
append = "hdd=ide-scsi"
ТО бишь жестким указанием где живет резак, а где нормальная читалка.
